Welcome to Peninsula Heritage School!
As I look out the window from my office, I see an abundance of happiness. I hear excited conversations and laughter among students and teachers alike. There is active learning happening both inside and outside the classrooms where students are engaged in making connections between their lives and their learning. Peninsula Heritage School is a place where students love to come to school, and the feeling is palpable.
Here at Peninsula Heritage School, we understand that students thrive in an environment where children are not only challenged, but also nurtured. Our small class sizes afford us the opportunity to value each learner as an individual and to discover what inspires them. It is in this type of environment that children are free to take risks, grow academically, and are encouraged to be their best selves.
Our exceptional student-centered faculty understands the importance of striking the right balance between hands-on learning and strong academics. Peninsula Heritage School’s program implements project-based learning in a way that enriches student learning and interest and intrinsically motivates students to achieve high standards. This approach, along with our rigorous curriculum, creates authentic learning experiences that help to shape our students for the rest of their lives.
Peninsula Heritage School prides ourselves for our broad socio-economic and cultural diversity as well as for having a supportive and respectful inclusive learning environment. With our rolling enrollment, our students welcome new friends and classmates throughout the year with open arms. Peninsula Heritage students embody our six character qualities: caring, respect, attitude, gratitude, self-control, and perseverance in their daily lives here at school and out in the community-at-large.
Welcome to our loving, caring environment where every student is empowered to realize their potential. We look forward to getting to know you better!
