Alumni Spotlight

Meet Shayla Patel who attended Peninsula Heritage from preschool to 5th grade. She is attending UC, Irvine majoring in Materials Science and Engineering, with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Go Shayla! She has some pretty awesome hobbies including camping, traveling, and race car driving!

During her time at PHS, she loved being in the science lab with the hands-on experiments and all of the outdoor education experiences where she connected more with her classmates. Currently, Shayla is working as an intern at Granite Construction focusing on their materials plant production and innovations.
